Biography

Gypsy and I became partners in 2018. She was in a kill shelter in Douglas Arizona. Gypsy was about 7 months old and was living on the streets of Douglas. That was the only history anyone but Gypsy knew. Instantly being home with Gypsy I began to learn how intelligent and clever she was. If I had something in my pant pocket she could remove it without my knowledge. When I have my cup of coffee in the mornings if I left it she would drink it. She also displayed a knowledge of training commands (after the first year she decided when she would follow through with the commands or not). After the first couple of days Gypsy decided no one but har and I are allowed in our apartment and no one is allowed to come near me. She since then has adopted my great nephew who forced himself on her when I went in the hospital to have heart surgery. He stayed and cared for her for the month and a half I was away and stayed with us to care for us for a year. I thank god everyday for Gypsy. I tell her she is the reason I get out of bed everyday. Gypsy just adds so much pleasure, happiness, and challenges to my life. I would be lost without her.
