Anahata

Anahata (Ana for short ... Sanscrit for Love) came to me from a shelter in Tennessee at 9 months old. She was very traumatized from having been bounced around to 5 different places before finally landing in her forever home with me. I'm a psychotherapist and brought her to my office every day. In no time, she went from being the "most fearful dog" her foster-Mom had ever seen, to my co-therapist, helping humans with PTSD. She was loved by everyone who met her and deeply grieved by all when she passed very suddenly from a stroke at age 12. I still miss her every day!
