Biography

I was shopping pre-pandemic at the Home Goods store for toys for my large dogs. A couple of women were also shopping in the pet section. We cooed and oogled over cute stuff. Then they asked me if I wanted another dog. I am self-trained to say 'yes,' to this question. I followed them through the pouring late afternoon rain on that February day. We went quite a distance, further than they mentioned. And led me to a dirt road in the boondocks. Finally, a woman came out of the door of the one house on that road carrying a tiny, barely furry snake-like creature. So tiny, I wondered if she was going to have health issues. My heart melted a few hundred yards down the road. I was so proud of my tenacity to go where few would go to rescue an unknown canine. Seven years ago! This is a piece of my being - she is my inner heart throb. She was not wanted due to the lack of proper markings; she was either going to be put down or someone would come that day to take her. I lucked out! Evil did not win.
