Daisy

I rescued my new shadow from the golf course I live on in Houston, Texas; I saw her running around for a couple of days, she would disappear off and on...other than that she was running free, being fed by neighbors, and sleeping behind one of the townhomes or in the sand trap. She was eating but never stopping. Some golfers would kick at her or pet her pretty head, and although she was eating, she was still under weight. That was 10 years ago, and shortly before a majo cold front that would drop our temperatures from the 80's to the 40's; so I knew I had to act. She wasn't meant to stay with us, I was looking at rescue organizations, but after a few weeks, I decided she was where she belonged. She's around 12 or 13, the vet said she was cutting her 2–3-year-old molars, sleeps all over the king-sized bed, and has numerous blankets to her name.
