Biography

I brought Broadway Andrews Buckley home on 2/5/17. She was a 4 year old girl at the time. I had gone to help my brother pick out a puppy at a Breeder in a city near us. He fell in love with a tiny little Boston who was too young to leave his mom at that time. He had made arrangements to visit the puppy until he was old enough to go to his new furever home. On our second visit the owner brought out a lively Boston Terrier then named “Peanut”. She said she wanted me to have her. I was very surprised and wondered why. I was told that Peanut had a litter of puppies (her third or fourth at that time) on 10/31/16. Due to complications during delivery she had to be spade following the birth of her puppies. She was feisty, friendly and full of energy. Later that day she became Broadway Andrews Buckley, the little sister of my Jack Russell Terrier mix (also adopted) Gershwin Lloyd Webber. Broadway became his shadow! It was her first time in a home. She wasted no time checking out furniture. The chairs, the sofa and then the bed! She made herself right at home. Gershwin and Broadway were inseparable until his passing in April of 2021. It has been just her and I ever since. Broadway has gone through a lot of changes in the past year; she has lost her hearing and about 97% of her vision. But she certainly hasn’t lost her ability to be funny, love, protect, respect and make my life so much greater because she is in it. Thank you for reading my story and tribute to my gorgeous girl!!
