Cami

Cami is almost 3 years old and a mixed breed, we think greyhound and boxer. She had been found by the police and taken to PACC. . She had been shot in the face. The bullet left fragments behind as it broke her left orbital socket and eye. We’re pretty sure she was abused as well. We took her in as a medical foster, but knew we couldn’t part with her after 2 weeks. When they sewed her eye closed, we filled out the papers to make her a permanent piece of our lives. She’s still afraid of men, and scared around new people, but she is my shadow, and will warn people away from me and the house. She is so loving and gives kisses freely. Cami loves other dogs and our cats. We adore her and can’t imagine our days without her.
