Buttercup

We moved to a small rural town in Florida and this sweet dog came up to us while we were doing yard work. Her owner came by and picked her up. About a month later I found her again wandering the streets. I put a sign up that we had a lost dog. Her owner called and said we could keep her because she kept escaping and they didn’t have time to take care of her. I could tell she never was in a home, just kept outside. She was very scared to go through doors. She also has a bb pellet embedded in her hip. She is living her best life, hogging the bed, gets lots of walks, lots of treats and carrots, and a family who loves her. Buttercup came to us in a new strange place and made our life here better. Everyone local knows her from seeing her on the walks and taking her to local events.
