Cookie

Losing my German Shepherd to age devastated me. Even tho I still had a pack there was an emptiness. My shelter had a Rough Collie I went to adopt but a shivering white mess looked up from the kennel floor, locked eyes and that was it. Cookie has been bossing our home for the last 5 years. She’s about 19 now, and still a mess (but no mats) because grooming is the 20 second rule before biting. Plus live in the country and she loves rolling around in grass/dirt/mud/whatever. My friend said it best “Poodles have a way of finding that hole in your heart and climbing in it”
