Jasper

Jasper came from a neglect situation in South Carolina and was rescued by a shelter in Florida, where we were lucky enough to adopt him. We only had about ten years with him before he passed, and we wish it had been much longer. He stayed very timid and a little fearful his whole life — almost certainly because of whatever he went through before he was saved. We always knew he needed an extremely safe, calm, and gentle home, and that’s exactly what he had with us. We miss him terribly. He’s on our mantel now in a beautiful box, resting alongside our other five pets who have passed.
