Biography

Choco was a rescue from The Rescue Project in Kansas City. He suffered a terrible attack by neighbor dogs and underwent 2 surgeries and multiple procedures. He has made a full recovery and still has a great attitude and weird little personality!

I, also, noticed his markings right away. Then his thick coat. Not saying that he's part golden retriever, but the "mane" on his chest reminds me of the Goldens on the Internet. Mostly I am happy he is safe and loved.

And it ended up costing my daughter and her husband over $50K by the time all was said and done. He did end up living another 5+ years afterward though.

Sorry to hear about the attack! My daughter's yorkie/chihuahua mix was attacked by a German Shepherd. Had to have plates replaced in his neck, and lost the ability to use his front legs. He had to live for 2 solid months in a rehab center in Santa Monica
