DogDog

Biography

Last November 14, 2024. Wife (Ana) and I were getting water at an R.O. Machine in the next Town. Ana notice a dog as we readied to go to a nearby BBQ Stand. As we walked there we saw this young Pug take off around the building. As we ordered our food I asked the Cook, if he knew there was a little dog walking around the back of his stand. He told us that he (the Pug) had been hanging around for 2-3 days/nights. And he had been giving him scraps of food. And he had been sleeping under the back steps. But no one could get even close to him, he would take off. While we were sitting at a picnic table there. I heard a Pug Snorting (Our Mother Betty raised & bred Pugs for decades). I looked down at my feet and that little Pug (MAYBE A YEAR OLD), was sitting between my feet looking up at me and snorting big time. I just said, "HI WHO ARE YOU?" He ran out a couple jumps and turned and jumped onto my LAP! With his paws on my chest just snorting away. Long story short... The BBQ Stand Owner said he had never seen the dog until 3 or so days ago. That a local said they saw a PU stop in the Parking Lot and when they left there was a puppy running after it. When we got our food and started to walk back across the road to our PU, the Little Guy was following right behind us. I called to the BBQ Owner, telling him that the dog was following us and might get hit on the 4 lane highway. He yelled back, "He is not MY DOG, take him if you want him. He walked right behind us until we got to our truck. And when I opened the door for Ana, he jumped into the front and back into the rear seat. That was how we were ADOPTED by "Sammy" 8 months ago! No one will believe this next line... My Pet Doberman/Lab "Jimmigirl" died of Lung Cancer on November 12, 2002. It is as if Sammy was waiting there for us to come. "Sammy" sleeps in exactly the same place & position on our bed as "Jimmigirl" used to (except we now have room to sleep too) hahaha.
