Little Man or Petite Homme

Biography
Little Man was brought to shelter at only a few years old after the breeder passed away from cancer. He is a long hair, apple head Chihuahua that weighs 3 pounds. He lived shelter life among many other dogs freely for over a decade. Three years ago I began volunteering there and we've not been apart since. He's now 17 and has experienced the world outside the shelter living with me now. I am single and have no children so he is my little best man and goes everywhere he chooses to go with me, especially work...he loves to visit his friends and eat delicious varieties of dog foods from the shelter that Kim Mathis prepared for each dog every day and night. When he can't find me he howls like a baby wolf for me. If a door shuts between us he barks twice to remind me. Bedtime next to me is what he looks forward to most; that's when the zoomies happen to show me his excitement to finally be in my arms where he sleeps every night. I spoil him in every way possible. We are very close, the two of us are. I rescued him but he has given me a reason to be happy and feel loved and needed every day. I believe he feels the same way about me now also.
