Eli

Eli is a basset hound/American staffie mix. He is very short, very sturdy, and people's first reaction they see him is either to laugh or say how cute he is. We adopted him from a shelter when he was almost two. He loved his German Shepherd sister who has since passed and had a love/hate relationship with the cat, who was a total bully. He takes a while to warm up and it took him a good 8 years stop being afraid if I picked up a wooden spoon too quickly. I don't think the first year and a half of his life in Tennessee was very happy. But he's a happy boy now and makes us laugh.
