Jess was a rescue from a horrible situation. I was searching for my new Service Dog, fell in love with him the moment I saw him. By the time he came to me he was 7 yrs old, he was terrified of loud noises, scared of people, afraid to be in the rain, had severe separation anxiety & abandonment issues. He had retained a natural love for other animals though. Through patience, positive reinforcement, & love, he became the most loyal, sweet, goofy, & loving pup. He learned to play with toys, wear clothes, snuggle, give joy to all of the medical staff during my medical visits, tests, & surgical procedures, & show love to the neighborhood children. He is now 13½ yrs old, has lost his hearing, & is losing his vision, but he still faithfully watches over me & stays by my side. This beautiful soul is my heart.
