Tony the Tiger and Eva

Tony came to the shelter after being moved multiple times as a puppy. He was so afraid at first that he wouldn't go outside or eat. Wonderful volunteers helped to socialize and nurture him. We met him as volunteer dog walkers. He was genuinely afraid of men, but he took to my husband and came to our house on a walk. We continued that trend and finally adopted him. He's a smart and wonderful dog. We love him so much. Eva was born and raised at the shelter. She was presented to me for a walk ( as a volunteer), and on the walk I could tell she was so smart and curious. When we returned, staff told me she had just been returned after being adopted. I knew that she was too smart and amazing to go through that cycle. We adopted her shortly after that. She's funny and amazing. So grateful!
