Charlie

Our son adopted Charlie from Mesquite Animal Services in 2022 when he was about 1-1/2 years old. He became our son’s companion riding along in an 18 wheeler throughout Texas and Oklahoma until the summer of this year. Our son’s position and routes changed and he was no longer able to make several stops during driving hours to accommodate Charlie’s much needed potty breaks and exercise runs. Charlie now lives with us, Granny and Papa, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the shelter. He is a joy to be around and has adapted to early retirement very well. He has a 9 yo chihuahua sister, a a 10 yr chi/terrier mix brother whom we adopted from MAS in 2017 and 2 feline brothers whom he plays well with. Charlie is 92 lbs of lap dog and we love him dearly.
