Clover aka Buttercup

Clover aka Buttercup was pulled from an Arkansas shelter right before she was euthanized. The lights were turned on there for an hour a day while being fed. Clover was malnourished and they could not tell that she was pregnant until they started feeding her and she started making milk. She soon had puppies. I took her for foster to adopt. She was heartworm positive and had mastitis. She was shy from being abused. I wondered what I had gotten myself into. She was sick! My previously rescued dog Harlow did not like to share me and it took weeks but we got it together and Clover got better. Harlow died on Monday of this week but she became an awesome sister pulling Clover out of her shell a little at a time. Time invested was well spent❤️
