Louie

Hi, I’m Lou Dog but I’m usually called Lou or Louie, amongst many other nicknames my hoomans come up with! I’m only 1.5 years old! I was rescued at 7 weeks old. I took a lottttt of warming up to my people. I spent 3weeks trying to stay as far from them as I could. They were patient though, and now we’re attached at the hip! I’m a very active dog, I love all other animals big and small. I have pet mice, a lizard, ducks, a few kitties, and one other dog that I have to keep in check and do my rounds with every day. I’d rather cease to exist if a person I didn’t know or wasn’t comfortable with came into my space though! I will try anything and everything to avoid strangers at all costs! Chihuahuas often have a bad rep, even my parents almost fell into the stereotypes, but I’ve proven to them I’m no ‘couch potato’ or ‘ankle biter.’ I just have boundaries and even though I’m small, they matter!
