Sigr

Sigr is a blackmouth cur, found as a stray in southern Tennessee, where he was roaming with another puppy. The rescue tells us he had 0 interest and was on the shortlist when we happened to find them on a pet finder search. They coordinated Sigr's 9 hour van ride after we completed the application and he spent a week recuperating from neutering. He had been called Brady, but now he lives his best life alternately chasing squirrels around the farm and snoozing on the couch before being tucked into bed every night here in Michigan with his older dog-sister and dog-brother. And his name is Sigr, which is Old Norse for 'victory'.
