Biography

Holler is a 4 year old Pomsky that we adopted almost two years ago from Good Karma Pet Rescue in Ft. Lauderdale. He was a designer dog gone wrong being born deaf. Because the breeder didn't think he was a money maker they dumped him and he bounced around until he ended up being surrendered to GK Pet Rescue. He is a little crazy, a little mischievous, a lot of fun, a bright light in our lives every single day and we love him so much! He is hilarious and makes us laugh constantly and he loves big! He knows some dog sign language, he is very bright. We think he's absolutely perfect just the way god made him and I'm so grateful for him. He is now the proud brother to his adopted sister, Fleur. Fleur is in the attached pictures and she is a beautiful Jindo/Shiba Inu adopted from Jindo Love in S. Korea. She was born on a Korean Dog Meat Farm and fortunately got rescued off of the truck with 16 other dogs heading to market. A Jindo Love volunteer followed the truck until the driver pulled over. They pleaded and bargained with the driver for four hours in the middle of the night until he agreed to sell them all 17 dogs. They were all taken to their rescue/shelter and received the care they desperately needed. After vet care and rehabilitation, she was ready to be adopted and that's when I found her on Jindolove.com. She flew to the United States from S. Korea during covid. It's been a bit of a journey for her and us. Fleur was so scared of men when she arrived she wouldn't even walk past one on the sidewalk. We went through several challenges together and I'm grateful for what I've learned from her. Fleur is happy, loved, and my best friend. There is no doubt she was meant to be with me for the rest of her life!

Hi Paula, we came up w/the name Holler from country music/songs. There are several that sing about Hollers in relation to , a small, sheltered valley with a stream running through it. It just fits him. 💙
