Dog

Dog was found wandering out of the woods after a violent thunderstorm. He was in bad shape. He walked up to a friends son and bonded, picked the right kid. With school and work commitments, they could only foster him for a while and only called him 'The Dog'. I took him in, agreed not to change his name and he was my best friend for 3 years until cancer took him. I loved him and he loved me, and loved his Christmas lights necklace too.
