Juneau

Juneau was born in 2012, bought as an 8 week old puppy, then abandoned by her owners outside, surviving nearly a year alone in their Miami backyard with little food or water before being rescued by Husky Haven of Florida. Malnutrition stunted her growth and left her with lifelong GI issues and broken teeth (from eating rocks and sticks to survive), but she grew into the sweetest, goofiest little husky imaginable. For the past 13 years she’s been my hiking, scootering, and skijoring partner—tiny but fierce at only 35 lbs. She's 14 now, and In this recent picture, she's getting water therapy for an old injury she sustained falling off the bed during a zoomie episode years ago. While she may be slowing down a bit, she is still full of joy, and I am incredibly lucky to still have her by my side. ❤️
