Bean
Biography
Bean came into our lives in 2019, at around two years old — but the truth is, it never felt like we found him. He found us. At an adoption event inside a PetSmart, everything changed in an instant. Bean burst out of his cage with pure, unfiltered joy, ran straight to his Dad, and covered his face in kisses — tail wagging wildly, body wiggling with excitement. There was no hesitation, no uncertainty. In that moment, it was clear: Bean had chosen his family. And somehow, even though we didn’t meet him until that day, it has always felt like Bean has been with us since the very beginning — like he was always meant to be ours. As if he had been part of our lives long before we even knew his name. From that day forward, he has lived exactly the way a dog should — fully, freely, and with his whole heart. Bean is joy in motion. He loves his food, his treats, and every snack he can convince you to share. He loves to go on long walks and never turns down a car ride. He plays hard, wrestles and cuddles with his people, and cherishes every moment of connection. He loves de-floofing his stuffed animals and tearing apart cardboard boxes. When he gets really excited, or is begging for some attention, he makes the cutest little "chewbacca" growl. He is fascinated with snow globes, talking toys, or anything that seems "strange" to him. And when he gets the zoomies, it is the funniest thing to witness. He is such a goofball, and truly one of a kind. He is just as happy rolling in the grass or digging in the dirt as he is curled up close, soaking in our love. His favorite place to take a rest is on his favorite recliner, with his favorite blanket, in his favorite person's (Mom....shh, don't tell Dad) lap. One of his greatest joys is his play dates with Daisy — his doggy girlfriend — where he gets to play, cuddle, and just be completely himself. Bean doesn’t just exist in our home — he fills it. With laughter. With movement. With warmth. With unconditional love. He is our child. Our beloved furbaby. He has a way of reminding everyone who meets him what really matters: simple moments, shared joy, and unconditional love. Even as life brings challenges his way, Bean continues to show up the same way he always has — happy, loving, and deeply present. And that is who he is at his core: A dog who chose love. A dog who lives with joy. A dog who makes every day better just by being here. A dog who, somehow, has always been ours!
