Arrow

Arrow came to us as a rescue from the Maricopa County Animal Shelter in Phoenix. He was found as a stray in Mesa, wandering the streets and was guessed at being between 1 to 1.5 years old when he was taken by animal control. When my husband and I arrived at the shelter, we were originally looking at a litter of puppies but while my husband went to request a meet and greet with the puppies, my eyes fell on him, a few kennels away. He was watching me silently, sadly, and I was drawn to him right from the start. We fell in love with Arrow that day. He is such an amazing little dog. He is wonderful with our four kids and such a loving, yet protective, companion. He has two scars in between his eyes, evidence of a fight he must have gotten into during his time as a stray. I also got his DNA done and found out he's an eclectic mix of chihuahua, mini pinscher, whippet, and dachshund. I love my Arrow! And I always say ... the best breed is adopted!
