Buckley

My name is Buckley and my parents found me at a local humane society after I was brought over from the mean streets of Bakersfield California! As a young dog I got into a lot of mischief through running away, getting into human food I shouldn’t have been eating, and causing some general havoc. My family always stuck by me through those times and gave me love, patience, and support. As I got older I really settled down and got into a nice routine with two walks a day to help me get my energy out! Once my family brought in another dog though was when I really found my footing as a best friend, role model, companion, and protector! My family loved me right to the end of my days and even though I am gone now from liver cancer that wasn’t caught until it was too late to fix, they still think of me everyday. My family misses me so much, but they know that I am in a better place where there is no pain and where I get all the treats I could ever want, get to go on so many hikes, and get to play in the water for eternity. I will be waiting here to greet them someday and can’t wait to play with them again when they get here.
