Xena Warrior Princess

Our family loves dogs and usually have 4,, the county max for our yard size. During Covid we lost 3 to old age! Sparkle was at least 23, Buddy 19, then Star who had Cushings and Cancee at 14. We knew pretty quickly after losing Sparkle that we wanted to open our hearts to a new dog. I religiously looked at the shelters and rescues and puppies/ young dogs (which we needed due to our one dog not accepting bigger dogs), and they went so fast. One day I checked Craigslist and saw someone had puppies about an hour away. I called and we spoke for quite awhile. The next day we drove out to meet her and when she saw us she was the only one who came running ♥️. I had told my family I wanted to name her Xena Warrior Princess which my hubby said no! Well my son asked what the lady would name her and she wore for word sis the same name! If that’s not meant to be…… the owner chose us over the other applicants and yjw adventure began. Xena LOVES to swim and long jump for toys in the pool. If you tell her you are going to beat her to hdr you she will swim extra fast and cut you off so you can’t beat her to the shelf! Afterward she loves to go to bed and rest with me. I have medical issues and I seat she acts like a nurse. She will come check on me and until I tell her I’m fine Bean, she will not leave me❣️. She is truly the smartest dog I have ever met and I am so grateful I found her
