Suzie

I made an agreement with the home owners that I would take in their father’s dog if anything happened to him. I moved in with 4 dogs and low rent which was so unbelievably nice. All because the owners were worried about their father’s dog, Suzie. 9 months later I got a call from the landlord to come get Suzie. The landlord’s were not comfortable with dogs and Suzie was a wreck. She had been with her dad’s body at least overnight before he was found passed. She was hiding in a bathroom and literally crying. It was so sad. The policeman was almost crying too. She was underweight and pretty sickly for her size. She weighed about 6 pounds but is now a healthy 9. She may not have been well cared for but she was loved as she is the sweetest and most even tempered little terrier I’ve ever dealt with. She is my little snuggler for whom I now cannot sleep without.
