Anubis

Anubis is the youngest of our three dogs. He was found by friends abandoned on the side of the road with his seven siblings, and we adopted him without a single regret. He has been a joy beyond anything we expected. Genetics test exhibited: German Shepard, Anatolian Shepard, Australian Shepard, with Husky, Great Pyrenees thrown in. At about a year and a half old, he still has the energy of two puppies—which can be exhausting. But the moment he gets sleepy, he crashes and sleeps like the dead. And of course, he manages to take up as much space on our bed as another human—sometimes even upside down. His current weight is 89lbs.
