Laura Alice

On a Friday we were contacted by a rescue and asked to foster; 15 young dogs out of state were going to be euthanized Saturday. Every one of them had an actor's name; she was Laura Dern. We picked her up at the drop off and brought her home where she fit right in with our own two dogs, so 13 years ago we foster failed and got the sweetest little girl ever. Laura Dern became Laura Alice. She’s very surprisingly Lab, Australian Shepherd, and Rottweiler! (we did the DNA test). All we know is she’s a sweet, shy, nut and we lucked out getting her; since she was spayed on Friday, and had been a stray and smelled awful, we started calling her Stinky, after a week when we were allowed to bathe her it was dropped to ‘Tinky’, and it’s been her nickname since. Oh, and her mission in life is to rip the squeaker out of any toy that has one!
