BiBi

Greetings all! My name is Beatrice. My owners call me "BiBi" because my formal name is too much work for them to pronounce. I can overlook this because of how much I love them. My ancestors hail from the St. John's of the British Isles, the rugged Great Pyrenees Mountains of Western Europe and the Central Anatolian steppes of central Turkey. Our peoples have always been hard workers, entrusted with retrieving hunted fowl through wild waters and untamed lands. Others ensured the safety of sheep and goat herds, stationed as their loyal guards against large predators. I continue in the traditions of my peoples via my expertise in stick and ball retrieval and my protection skills for my humans against rabbits, skunks, coyotes, squirrels, peacocks, and other dogs that have the audacity to come anywhere close on our walks. Here I am, leisurely sunbathing whilst looking adorable -- one of my favorite activities.
