Stewie

Stewie is 12 years old and was adopted from the Greater Birmingham Humane Society 8 years ago along with Sammie, a 7-year-old black LabChow mix (see photo below). Stewie had been in and out of the shelter several times for various reasons. All he needed was a bit of discipline from someone who had the time and patience to work with him. It didn't take long at all for Stewie to learn how to behave properly, and now he is one of the sweetest dogs around. Sadly, Sammie passed away in 2023, and she is dearly missed. :(
