I unintentionally ended up with this punk, around May of this year. He was hanging around up the dirt road with this dreadlock dude. Suddenly he’s on my back porch, so of course I started feeding him. I already had 5 cats, (all from the streets). I didn’t need nor could afford another one. Strangely, about 3 weeks after he showed up, one of mine went missing, assuming a coyote. 🙁 Anyway he’s like having a dog! Following me around, trying to trip me, and lays at my feet! I’ve basically had dogs my whole life. Got my first one at age 4, and I have the lip scar to prove that it was love at first bite! The last 2 were older rescues, that got a soft spot to spend their last years. I had to put my last one down July 2025. Unfortunately, at this time, I’m not in a good position to adopt another. But I know that down the road, when the dear lord knows I’m ready, an old soul will cross my path! 🐶
