Sourdough Sam

Sam was picked up as a stray and Surprise, Arizona. He was held at the Maricopa County Shelter. When he hadn’t been claimed at the end of the required hold, he was enlisted due to behavioral issues. After seeing his picture online, I arranged with a local rescue to claim him from the county shelter. That was in early November 2024. He was scrawny and weighed about 7 pounds. As you can see, he’s really filled out. He eats more than regularly and has a good size backyard to run around in. And he does get a lot of daily exercise. His DNA showed him to be about 50% Chihuahua and 16% pit bull. I tell friends he weighs 7 pounds but 70 pounds of attitude.
