Shandi Marie

Shandi Marie is my beloved Service Dog, she even detected my breast cancer, and saved my life. Shandi is 10 yrs old, and we have been together since she was 4 1/2 weeks old, when I recused her! I have Multiple Sclerosis, and she was trained to be my MS Bracing Dog! She helps me in so many ways, helps me out of bed, helps me stand up from a seated position, keeps me from falling, helps me up and down stairs, but she always knows when I am hurting and having a bad day, and she helps with that also! She has been in hospitals, pain clinics, at all my doctor appts, grocery stores, everywhere I go, she is right by my side! She went with me to all my breast cancer radiation treatments as well! Most of all, she is my BFF, and love of my life! My grandchildren adore her, and she loves them as well! She is playful, and silly, but she knows when her vest is put on, that it is time to work! She will be 11 yrs old on November 4th! She enjoys meeting new friends and is very intuitive towards myself and others!
