Biography

Quincy came to us in May of 2016 as a foster for our neighbor. After roughly 4 weeks, we couldn't imagine not keeping him. We were blessed beyond words to have had the honor of bringing him into our family! I've heard experts say a dog can only have 1 master. Not Quincy. Although he was a true daddy's boy, he absolutely loved me as well, so much so that he felt my every emotion before I knew I was feeling them. He was my registered ESA. He couldn't have been more of a daddy's boy if he were human though, I'll definitely say that. He did everything with Dad, everything. On January 26, 2024 another fur baby was in desperate need of a forever home. She was approximately 1 y/o and we took her in, not knowing exactly how Quincy would react to another dog. At first, things were quite rough. After about 8 months though, Quincy started initiating play time with his big, little sister. Then in January of 2025, Quincy started showing signs that something wasn't quite right. I made him a vet appointment immediately, he didn't make it to that appointment. He passed away quite suddenly the morning of it, on January 16,2025. We're still devastated. Even after almost 8 months I can't bare to think about him without crying as I am now while typing this out. He was truly our soul dog. He was so much more than my baby. I miss him more with each passing day. RIP my precious boy, until we meet again 😭
