Sasha

Sasha’s life began under heartbreaking circumstances. Her mother was cruelly dumped by humans and forced to give birth in the elements, without shelter, safety, or care. Out in the open, Sasha and her siblings endured ticks, fleas, and being soaked from storms until, finally, someone discovered them and asked for help. That’s when I stepped in—bringing their mom, Sasha, and her four brothers and one sister into safety. Among them all, Sasha was the smallest and most fragile. A stubborn eye infection worsened until her tiny eye ruptured and had to be removed. For a time, it seemed like her start in life might always define her. But Sasha had other plans. With love, food, medicine, and warmth, she transformed. The sickly little pup who once struggled to keep up became a plump, healthy girl, full of joy and playfulness. Today, Sasha is the very picture of resilience. She may only have one eye, but she sees the world with more love and light than most. Her journey is a reminder that strength doesn’t always come from being the biggest or strongest—it comes from surviving, healing, and choosing joy despite everything. Sasha is happy, affectionate, and loving, a living testament to the spirit of survival and the power of compassion.
