Oliver

Oliver was rescued with 30 other dogs from a fight ring where he was a bait dog because he’s so mild mannered. But he refused to die at their hands. Oliver came to the shelter at 26#, guessed to be 7 years old & was at the shelter for almost 8 months healing from all his wounds. I was asked to foster him for only 2 weeks, which turned into several months. During which time, Oliver gained up to 60#. Now being 8 years old, I took him to 5 different adoption events, but when they found out Oliver’s age, they just said good luck. So I decided to adopt him rather than put him through anymore nonsense. Oliver’s been with me ever since & he’s 10 now. I’ve had many more fosters & rescues along with him. But he & my other senior are my forevers!! ❤️
