Booboo
Biography
Booboo came to me in May 2022. Walking the back alley in our neighborhood completely emaciated. You could see and count every bone in his little body. Terrified and lonely he didn't trust anyone. He is fast and it took a minute for him to warm up to me but when he did he became my shadow. He had a collar but no tags. I took him to an animal control officer in our town and no chip. I didn't want to hand him over so I posted him online and let people know I had him and he was safe. No one reached out so after a couple weeks I named him Booboo. I would never keep him from his family but I believe he was abandoned. He was scrappy with other animals and men. I can just imagine what his life was like before. He doesn't fight with other dogs over food anymore and he takes treats from you gently now. He's come a long way from that frightened pup I found wandering the streets. I even let him run and he always came back to me. He sleeps right next to me in a warm bed, I don't think he ever had before and that's why he is still glued to my hip 3 years later.
