The Twins

At just weeks old, these sweet Shepherd mixes had their ears chopped off and the female's tail chopped off, then were dumped in the woods to die. A passerby took them to a local shelter, who posted about the abuse this brother and sister endured. I followed their story and the minute they were adoptable, I applied. I sobbed tears of joy when my application was approved. Lark and Sparrow now run and play on our 18 acre ranch with their adopted sister, Iah, a German Shepherd mix, and lounge at night in our king-sized bed. They are loved, they are safe and will never experience abuse at the hands of humans again.
