Lester

I adopted Lester from Friends for Life in Houston, Texas. Lester and four small dogs were dropped off at the shelter during the night in a cardboard box. I fostered one of these dogs, who was adopted. Then I fostered Lester, who was extremely shy and fearful. My dog Nikki and Lester became very close and hung out together. It took Lester several months to trust me. After six months, I adopted Lester. He has been the best untrained dog I have ever owned. He travels by car and plane perfectly well. After 11 years together, we are retired and continue to grow older together. I love him dearly.
