Winnie

Winnie was found wandering in the woods on one of the hottest days in the summer of 2019. I took her in with the intention of finding her a home. Turns out, she was already home! She was three years old, had been re-homed a few times, adored all humans, and was dog reactive. As I worked to build her trust and our bond grew, I learned how smart she is, and how much she loves to learn new things. And how quickly she learns! She became neutral to other dogs, walked in packs, and even made some friends. Her favorite things are sticks. Her favorite snacks are turkey chips. She loves taking naps in the sun and long walks when it’s 30°. And she is the sweetest, funniest, calmest, most intuitive creature I have ever had the pleasure of calling my roommate … and my family.
