Biography

At 3 months old Bubba came into my life and needed to be rescued. He had been living in the streets and was ready for a comfortable loving home. Looking into his sweet puppy eyes there was no way I could leave him behind. I made a commitment to care for him forever and he has been the best decision I ever made he has been my best friend, my hiking buddy, and my son. I Like to say I don’t know who rescued who and I mostly feel very undeserving of the unconditional love and loyalty I receive. Bubba has such a calm, silly and sweet demeanor yet he NEVER lets his guard down and is ALWAYS protective of me and all the people in his life. He is a protector not an aggressor. Bubba loves to go on car rides sticking his head out of the window, he loves pup cups, loves to play with other dogs at the dog park, loves belly scratches, loves all his dog cousins, and is a heavy chewer so of course he loves his bones. Bubba rarely barks, doesn’t shed much , doesn’t drool, is potty trained, kennel trained and listens 99% of the time :) he jumps and twists/twirls excitedly anytime I ask him if he wants to go on a walk and he sometimes grumbles very quietly to let me know he wants me to play with him (usually tug of war or fetch). I feel like the luckiest girl. Out of every dog in the world it had to be Bubba , couldn’t have been any other dog because he is perfect in my eyes (I prayed to God I wanted a best friend dog and a few weeks later I met Bubba). Everyone in my life knows Bubba is a priority. He gets tons of toys and treats, 3-4 walks a day and dog park every day or two. Bubba also loves to swim in the ocean however HATES bathes (it’s like wrestling a crocodile lol). Bubba has his own big dog bed from Costco however is allowed to sleep on any furniture. He sleeps in my bed, on my couch or in his bed. Whatever he decides. Bubba likes to explore the world with me and is always up for a fun outdoor adventure. Bubba is also a big FOODIE, he eats anything and everything from fruits, veggies, eggs, chicken, sardines, kibbble, wet food or the fresh food I prep for him, yogurt , peanut butter, even horse poop (eww) and so much more. Bubba is very patient and quite honestly I don’t know how he deals with my daily kiss attacks. He does sometimes put his paw on my chest to block me and lets me know he wants space. I talk to bubba and he absolutely understands me. He is very sharp and easy to guide. Bubba is now 3 years old and brightens not just my life but my families and friends lives as well.
