Philo Beddoe

I already had 2 dogs at home when I saw Philo's face on our local dog warden Facebook page. I instantly fell in love with that smile and his cute little chubby feet and stubby legs. I'm not sure what breed he is, but whatever the mix is, it made for the most snuggly, goofy looking cuddle potato there is. When my husband picked him up and brought him home, he was emaciated and nothing like the picture on the web page I saw. He was told that when they found him he had been wandering the streets for days. When finally home, there had been a box of half eaten pizza in the garage for garbage. He managed to climb up and eat it all. It didn't take long before he put on weight and steal my heart. He's our little Southside Scrapper. We named him Philo Beddoe after Clint Eastwood's character in Every Which Way But Loose. Tough but with a soft heart ❤️
