Nix

Nix was born in one area. Someone picked her up from there and brought her to their house. Sadly they have six or seven dogs, and I discovered they don't treat them well. Because she was living right across the street from me. She saw "dog heaven" (my house) and jumped out of her yard and came to mine. I took her back home but said she could come over for playdates any time. We did this for a few weeks. One day when she went to jump her fence to come over, her owner said no but she did it anyway. Her previous owner came out, picked her up and started beating her. I got her immediately and said she's mine now! She's so happy living with her new Mom and 2 brothers. She looks across the street and tells her old pack, "Haha, I escaped and live in dog heaven now!" She's 3 years old.
