Zoey

My name is Sandy and Zoey is one of my many rescues, adopted or just plain ole taken a dog that someone didn't want anymore. I love doggos! I have 8 now. Spoiled rotten. Zoey was an adoption from a small rescue on lake Buchanan here in Texas. She and her brother, Napoleon.. aka Poli! We adopted together. We still have him as well. He is a pelegic. They came from a breeding situation and have health issues. But we have them on the right meds. We cook all their dinners. No cancer kibbles for my babies. I have a passion for dogs and we finally had a wonderful younger couple that have been absolutely a blessing to this community. They made a Shelter happen in a rural area. They both work full-time time jobs. This shelter.. San Saba County Friends of Animals is a small but wonderful little shelter that needed volunteers to keep going. There are the true die hards and the board. These wonderful people give & give! I'm tearing up writing this. It's been so hard. The volunteers were far and few. It took a toll! A hard toll. We are in danger. Any help, donations would help keep us going. Bill & Regina are at the end of their rope and we are in danger! That means so many... so, so many innocent furbabies are in danger. If we can keep going. So... I'm going to keep trying to get votes and donations for our little Shelter. 🙂
