Monroe
Biography
Monroe came to us on a very cold 30° February night in 2025. Someone had pulled up & dumped him out onto the road in front of our farm. At 4am that morning, we heard the most desperate howls & cries at our door. We immediately brought him in, warmed him with a blanket & heating pad, fed him & gave him water. He was starving & way underweight for a dog his size. We called the our vet that day & had him evaluated and scanned. He had a chip & the owner was called but never came or called back to get him. We learned a few days later, they gad deleted their info off of his chip & no longer claimed him. We went through all the legalities & adopted him. He is such a well behaved, sweet, loving boy. He has also bonded & has become quite protective & partial to my 50 yr old Sister-in-Law that has Downs Syndrome. There's not been one day that she isn't smiling & interacting with him and we are so blessed to see that interaction between the two of them. He also has 2 Chihuahua sisters and 1 Feline brother. He is Home now, & will never be left out in the cold again. 💜🐕
