Bentley

Bentley was a big fan of playtime, even more than he enjoyed walks. Getting him out the door was often a challenge. He adored his human sisters and missed them dearly when they moved out. He was incredibly sweet and always tried to please. I worked from home, and when the girls were away, he followed me around, keeping my feet warm while I worked. But when the girls were home, I hardly saw him. He would occasionally come up and say hi, though. He never stopped enjoying his toys, even as he got older. He would bring a toy and drop it at my feet while I was working. If I didn’t respond, he would go get another toy and drop it on my foot. He would keep doing this until I took a break and played with him. We lost him last September, and the house hasn’t been the same since. He was 11.4 years old.
