Lucy

Lucy (Maltese mix) came to from a county shelter in San Diego. She was rescued off the streets and a shelter took her in. She weighed only 6 pounds, had cactus spines everywhere including inside her mouth, a deep infected bite on her neck, and was in heat. They must have seen her sweetness to put that much effort to help her. She was about 2-3 yrs and I've had her now for 11 years. My only goal is to give her love and make her feel safe. Lucy is still learning to trust other people but has come a long way. I couldn't love her more.
