Honey
Biography
I've had many dogs. 5 have died in the last 12 years. Only one from natural causes. My last dog, Bella was very sick for a long time (10 months!). She was originally mis-diagnosed for parvo virus. So, we treated her for that for about three months. She wasn't getting better. Turns out, my new vet appropriately diagnosed her with pancreatitis. Poor Bella, she didn't stand a chance. Plus her left rear hip was injured and she wasn't able to walk properly. Anyway, she died doing what she loved, laying in the sun, May 2nd, 2026. Her death was just devastating for me. I decided right then that I didn't want to own another dog. But, I LOVE dogs & want them in my life. I just don't want to go through that kind of agonizing pain again. It's just too hard! So, I decided to foster dogs that wouldn't otherwise get a chance. That's where Honey came from. She's a handful, but a sweet girl. She is only 11mo this old, however you wouldn't think looking at her. She is a mixed breed of Pitbull terrier (pibble) and red heeler. She's a beautiful girl! She is available for adoption. If you are interested in adding her to your family, please investigate how to do so with MizFit Muttz Rescue in Reno NV.
