Cortez

Cortez is a rescue from Shelter of Hope in Thousand Oaks Ca. He was involved in a hoarding case when I met him at work a daycare/boarding facility he was an escape artist and biter. Working with him daily was always interesting. But I found myself feeling protective when people started to want to adopt him. Then at closing one night I was doing a kennel check of all the dogs his kennel was the last one. I got a leash and took him. I called Kim the owner of the rescue and she was fine with it. He worked the front desk with me and met with nervous dogs during our first year together. Then I became chronically ill and he has been rescuing me every day since!
